The 4″ – 12″ Regular Concrete Blocks, shown here, are the standard blocks offered. We have found over the years that one profile block can be called by many different names. Take for instance the standard 8″ x 8″ x 16″ Concrete Block, it might be called an 8 inch Regular or an 8 inch Cinder Block, because in some parts of the country they add cinders to the blocks. However, this additive is not common in Florida.

For your convenience, we have included the standard names for each profile block at the bottom of each picture, as well as the alternative names with the product description for each block.

Architectural Screen Blocks

Architectural Screen Blocks have been on the market for over 30 years and are making a resurgence again. Often called Pattern Blocks or Breeze Blocks, Screen Wall Blocks have an Art Deco appeal in common with many fashions from the 50’s and 60’s. This unique Architectural Block separates and defines space and creates an openness like no other: Screen blocks are decorative blocks–they are not considered structural units and should not be used as such.

This decorative, yet functional block provides excellent protection from the sun’s heat and glare, at the same time allowing welcoming breezes to pass through.

Screen blocks are often applied in commercial projects for stairwells and parking garages, however, their popularity lies in the residential market for use in property line walls, feature walls, privacy screens and garages. In these partition walls, the potential of a screen block is maximized; it’s open design provides ventilation, partial shading, privacy, and a decorative break in the monotony of the wall’s surface. We have 12 styles of Screen Block and many colors available, each manufactured to the highest standard.
